SECURITY BRIEFING: ISLAMIC STATE IN ASIA

As the Islamic State (IS) extremist group continues to lose territory in Syria and Iraq, there are concerns that it may seek to expand its operations into other countries where there is some degree of sympathy for its objectives and ideals. It should be noted this map does not explore the presence of other transnationalist extremist groups, such as al-Qaeda and its various affiliates. Please click here to access the interactive map.
